When Caity Lotz’s character was killed (we thought) in season three of Arrow, devotees of the Canary died a little too. Now, they anxiously await her resurrection. The Arrow and Flash spin-off show Legends of Tomorrow will bring Lotz’s much beloved character back from the dead by way of the mysterious Lazarus Pit and the League of Assassins. If you aren’t a mega-fan, this all may sound like gobbledygook, but fear not! Caity Lotz will lure you in, regardless of your affection for or knowledge of the DC Comics universe.
On performing stunts in Legends of Tomorrow:
"I like the way the White Canary fights better than the Canary. It’s more showy and big. It’s not just bam-bam, punch-punch, down. It’s big, giant kicks and jumping over things. I think the fighting is gonna be pretty cool."
“I found a video of me filming myself in my trailer on my first day on set for Mad Men. It’s so funny watching this video. I’m filming the microwave and I’m like, ‘Hey, I’m just here microwaving in my trailer. I have a microwave in my trailer!’ I was so excited. It was the cutest thing.”
"I don’t think I’ll ever go back to dancing. I will dance because I love dancing but I won’t work as a dancer. That is an 18 year old’s profession. It’s hard on your body, they don’t treat you as well, the money is not nearly as good. Being a dancer is a hard career."
On her role in The Machine:
I played two different characters. It was a low-budget film so some days I was playing both characters in one day and one of the characters I had to completely transform myself.
